This article explains how you submit a video-Assignment in Brightspace using Microsoft Steam.
Video's that are part of an assignment should be uploaded in MS Stream before submitting them to the Assignment. In order to do that you need to have access to MS Stream. Below are instructions on how to upload a video-Assignment via MS Stream:
Step 1: Uploading your video into Microsoft Stream
- Go to your Microsoft Stream Homepage .
- Click the drop down menu next to Create .
- Click on Upload video.
Drag in or (click) browse for your video.
- Click on a file to upload.
- Then click on Open.
Select the language of the video
- (Optionally) Customize the Name, Description and other details to your liking.
- Click on Publish when you're done.
- Once uploaded, click on My Content.
- Click on the three dots next to your video.
- Click on Share
- Click on Share Tab and Copy the code.
Step 2: Place your Microsoft Stream video in the assignment text box via Text Link
- Go to your course assignment submission page.
- Select you correct assignment submission.
- Click on Insert Stuff icon to link your MS Stream Video.
Make sure to name your link to that your instructor knows who you are and can easily identify you video.
- Click on Insert Link
- Past MS Stream Link Code into the text box.
- Click on Next
- Click on Insert
- Click on Submit
- Click on Done
You now have fully submitted your video assignment via MS Stream Link Code.
Bear in mind that the assignment submission type needs to be a Text Submission. If you get an error saying that "You must select at least one file", please contact your instructor and ask them to change the Submission Type to Text Submission.
