Stream (Classic) will be replaced by Stream on SharePoint, this change affects the videos you have posted on Brightspace. This article explains how to change the Stream links.
Why?
Microsoft has announced that Stream is being discontinued as a standalone platform and has now named this older platform Stream Classic. The successor to Stream Classic is called "Stream on SharePoint". Stream Classic will no longer be available to users as of 15 October 2023. The Microsoft 365 administrators of THUAS will still have access until 15 April 2024.
This means that videos posted on Brightspace with a link to Stream Classic will have to be updated. All Brightspace users have until 15 February 2024 to do this.
Where can I find the new videos?
The videos you had on Stream Classic are automatically transferred to SharePoint and/or to your personal OneDrive (within our Microsoft 365 environment). If you cannot find the videos, please check Getting started with Stream on SharePoint or contact the Office 365 administrators.

To check this, go to your Brightspace Course and click on the video. At the bottom right, you will see the option "View in Microsoft Stream."
