Stream on SharePoint is now Clipchamp. This article explains how to upload Clipchamp links in Brightspace.
Why Clipchamp?
In Clipchamp, you can edit your own videos for knowledge clips or other educational materials. Clipchamp is part of The Hague University of Applied Sciences’ applications, which means external users do not have access to the data within Clipchamp. That is why you no longer need to use YouTube to upload videos to Brightspace.
The way videos are uploaded in Brightspace also helps save storage space within your Brightspace course. In addition, this helps your course run more smoothly.
Sharing the video with your students
- Open your video in Clipchamp
- In the top-right corner, click Delen (Share) and then Koppeling kopiëren (Copy Link)
- You will now see a confirmation that the link has been copied. Click Instellingen (Settings) in this screen if you want to adjust the link permissions.
- There, choose Personen in De Haagse Hogeschool (Persons in The Hague University) and set the permissions at the bottom to Kan weergeven (Can display) if students should only be able to watch the video.
You can now follow the steps below.
Uploading the link
Open the video in Clipchamp and click the "Delen" (Share) button in the top-right corner. Then click Code Insluiten <> (Embed Code).
Then select Invoegcode kopiëren (Copy Embed code).
