Every new course in Brightspace is created with an English structure under the Content part of the course. We call this the Course Template. If you want to use a Dutch course structure, you'll find how to do it here.

Course that are created through the integration with Osiris will automatically have the English course template under the Content part of the course. Unfortunately you can't just change it to Dutch with a mouse-click, but there are ways to change it to Dutch.
- You can remove the English Units and import the Dutch template. We'll go through this step by step.
- You can translate the English template yourself using a translation table. You'll find it below this article.
Step 1 - Check your course
In the next couple of steps we are going to upload the Dutch template file to the course. The Units will be added below the current Units in the content part of your course. Are your current Units empty? You could delete them already if you want to. Have you already added content to it that you would like to keep? Then don't delete them just yet.

Step 2 - Download the Dutch Template file
To upload the Dutch template, you first need to download it. Make sure you always go here to download it to make sure you have the latest version of the template. Download the Zipfile below.
Step 3 - Upload the file to your course
- Go to your course
- Go to Course Tools - Course Admin
- Select Import/Export/Copy Components
- Select Import components and click Start
- Upload the Zipfile by selecting it from your pc or dragging it to the Upload box
- Click Import all components if you are sure you want the entire Dutch template. Click Advanced Options if you want to make a selection first, for instance if you already know you aren't going to use all parts of the template.
- The converting and importing may take a while
- Click view content to see the results once it's finished
Step 4 - Move your content or delete the English parts
You will now see the Dutch template in your course. If you already removed the English parts, you can now proceed with building your course!
If you have added content to the English parts before, you may want to move it to the Dutch part before deleting it. You can do this by simply clicking on the three dots on the top right of the page. Select Move To and select the Unit, Lesson or Folder where you want to move the content to.
